So people sat when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Does that mean I am tough of does that mean I an not? Tough because I have carried in going till today, and NOT, because I really feel like giving it all up this very minute. I really don’t know if I am tough or not.
Sometimes I dread getting up in the morning. Especially if it comes to the end of the month and I know I have some cheques to cover that week. It’s a very bad practise, I know, to issue post dated cheques. But the situiation don’t permit me to pay cash, and my suppliers are understanding enough to allow me to pay with a post dated cheque. All suppliers acepts post dated cheques these days, because banks are tough when it comes to paying by cheques. One bounced cheque will cost you a penalty of 100 bucks and if you 3 bounced cheques within a six months period, you are done. You will be blacklisted and you won’t be able to open any account with any banks in Malaysia for 6 months! That what the Bank Officer tells me anyway. So I take his word for it and I make sure my cheques doesn’t bounce.
That’s when the trible starts. Since I don’t want tro loose my credibility with my Bankers as well as my suppliers, more often than nought, I have to borrow to cover what I have issued to meet the payment. Fortunately, I do have good friends and relatives who are ever ready to give a helping hand in times like this. Else I would have close shop long long ago.
