She advertised her daughter's car for sale cos she went overseas study. Mafan to have so many cars at home. Then a guy called to ask about the car. mistake my mom did was tell him where she lived. Didn't occur to her that anything bad will happen. Next day, a decent looking young Chinese guy showed up dressed in work clothes during lunch hour. Looks very educated. Very polite. Very good English. Probably studied overseas before. Then, he took out a small knife. Told her to cooperate. Tied her up. Stole everything in the house (money, handphone, TV, ect) all load into her daughter's car and then drove off. When her husband came home...untied her...then they made police report. People tend to associate all these robberies with dark complexion people, especially illegal immigrants. That's not the case anymore. When times are desperate, people will do anything. The more I read about it in the papers...I really think....what has the world come to? I mean overall Malaysia is safe (no war) but then there's too many crimes that go on that's hard to stop or detect. There's too many ill-minded people out there trying to make a quick buck by stealing/robbing/cheating other people. <b>boy! what a terrifying experience! consider your mum lucky when only material wealth was lost. Yes. robbers these days are really well mannered ones. There is a two man team here in PD oso, Well dressed, drives around housing estates in a BMW. When they see a house with accupants not in, they will calmly park their car at the front gate, cut of the lock with a bolt cutter, go in, pry open the door and take whatever they want in their own sweet time. All in broad daylight. Neighbours who see them going in and out suspects nothing. Like I say, what a fun place to live in hah</b> My mom’s friend oso kena.
